Fondi BESA sh.a. has signed a 6 Million Euros loan agreement with the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank.

This loan will be used to finance micro and SME businesses mainly for the following purposes:

– For financing specific projects or investment programs for creation, modernization and diversification of projects in the industry, agriculture and manufacturing, as well as in the services sector.

– As working capital for industry and agriculture businesses, as well as for the processing, manufacturing and service businesses for financing their needs of working capital for certain projects or investments.

– For financing businesses in the industry and agriculture sector, which are mainly oriented towards exports.

The successful realization of this Loan Agreement between Fondi BESA sh.a. and the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) is a support and continuation of the mission of Fondi BESA sh.a. to contribute to the economic growth and poverty reduction in the country’s urban and semi-urban areas through financing micro and small enterprises in Albania.

Currently Fondi BESA sh.a., as a leading institution in Albanian microfinance market, has consolidated its activity and presence through its expansion in the whole country with 65 offices and a clear and ambitious plan of activity expansion in the following years.

Fondi BESA sh.a. has currently about 27,000 active clients and a loan surplus around 5.4 Billion ALL and since the beginning of its activity has given around 115,000 loans in the amount of about 40 Billion ALL.

The signing of this Loan Agreement is part of its strategy for diversifying its sources in the framework of meeting the needs for funds and realization of the ambitious growth objectives and activity consolidation, as well as for building a long-term partnership between Fondi BESA sh.a. and donors or serious financial institutions.

This agreement marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration between Fondi BESA sh.a. and the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank.
