Fondi BESA sh.a Lending Institution for Businesses, announces competition for the position Product Development Specialist in the Department of Marketing and Development, at the Headquarters:

Main requirements for candidates in this position are as follows:

  • Higher education diploma, preferably Faculty of Economics.
  • Over 5 year-experience in financial institutions (microfinance, banking);
  • Preferably experienced in product development, strategic planning and implementation;

Main duties to be in charge of:

  • To manage in-life product performance: sales, margins and churns by conducting extensive analysis.
  • To conduct thorough market research that may include taking surveys, attending market changes including also attending product changes of rival companies;
  • To identify new market opportunities and relaying this information to the Manager and other relevant stakeholders;
  • To identify present innovative and creative product solutions;
  • To manage project in all stages of product integration/launches/changes through implementation;
  • To identify business and operational requirements based upon the business requirements & objectives of each product;
  • To display a high level of critical thinking in cross-functional process analysis and problem resolution for new and existing products;
  • To coordinate and build strong working relations with various internal organizations including; IT, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Product Development and Operations;
  • To lead the development, approval, training and communication of new products/product changes and their associated customers, operations, system and process impacts;
  • To develop and conduct specialized training on new products launched. To ensure that all branch sale staff are trained regularly on existing and new products;
  • To be a sales support/one point of contact/knowledge base for the entire Branch Sales team;
  • To monitor internal processes for efficiency and validity prior and post product launch /changes; 
  • To provide support for other departmental projects as needed. To participate in opportunities to develop both personally and professionally;
  • To meet/exceed and maintain service levels assigned by the management. To meet/exceed expected reliability results;
  • To adhere to Corporate Compliance Policy;
